Attention: Riders in UT, NM, AZ, NM and west TX!
I have been waiting for a magazine, newsletter or anything that was written for me and my favorite kind of people – Scooter People! “Scoot!” ceased to exist in 2013 and I got tired of waiting so I’m starting one myself, The Scooter ‘Zine.
*My name is Howard and I’ve been riding scooters since 2008. I’ve owned at least 9 scooters, started a scooter club, been to Amerivespa, High Rollers and even ridden a Saddlesore 1000 on my Buddy 150. I’ve ridden with clubs in AZ, CA, NV and NM. My scooter has helped me make friends all over the country. I want to share my scooter passion and that of other riders with every rider who has a bit of time to read.
If people like it and support it, we will make it bigger and more often. Learn more on our Facebook page: The Scooter ‘Zine
If you are in one of the 5 states listed above, PM me your address and I will mail you a copy of the premier issue, FREE! Subscriptions will be $20/year. ($22 if using PayPal.)

Owning a Vespa has never really been about performance. There’s a fascinating history behind the name and an undeniable retro appeal to the tiny Italian scooter. It’s all about the dolce vita rather than life in the fast lane. This doesn’t mean that a Vespa can’t be (a little) exciting! That’s exactly what the brand is going for with the introduction of its most powerful Vespa yet, the GTS 300 with the all-new HPE.

Scooters have always been an essential part of any growing automotive market around the world. There was a time during the 1950s when the dust of World War II had settled down, and automotive markets were booming around the world. Something similar was happening in Italy, which has become the hub of automotive giants in the present day.

You meet the nicest people on a Honda. At least, that’s what the U.S. advertising campaign for the original Cub said. That Cub has been continuously produced for markets all over the world since 1958, selling over 100 million units, as of 2017. In the early 1990s, Honda produced the EZ-9 off-road scooter, and as an attempt to re-capture the same lightning in a bottle, called it the Cub here in the U.S. market.

Not sure what this is but I am sure what it’s not.
Harley Looking Ahead Harley-Davidson made a big effort towards the future with its new LiveWire. However, that bike hasn’t been very well received. Most people aren’t impressed with the range or price.
