Ski and Scoot

Today was an absolutely perfect day. This morning was spent on the mountain skiing. We skied about 10,000 feet of vertical before calling it a day. We had some lunch, came home and then took a scooter ride to go get a nice warm coffee. It was a short ride but we did get four members to show on a chilly day!

According to reports, the weather is supposed to take a turn for the warmer tomorrow. In fact, they are predicting a heat wave of around 42°F. That’s good enough for us to hit the road. If you are interested, we will be meeting at the clubhouse at 2:30 PM for a short ride and a warm beverage after.
Remember, the clubhouse location is 443 27th St, Ogden, UT 84401.

Frosty Ball Ride – Warm Edition

2016-11-20-13-57-41-8c2d514c

This past Sunday was our “Frosty Ball Ride.” Normally, in late November, the weather is downright chilly but this past weekend was a pleasant 60 degrees (15C). We started at the clubhouse and took a spin through Ogden before riding South Weber Drive. This is always a favorite and as Dave was up from Salt Lake, we thought it was a nice ride for his visit.

After riding, we stopped at “Scooter’s” coffee for a cup and a visit. Yes, you are seeing scooters in front of Scooters. Normally this is our final ride of the season but we will be actually moving to a monthly ride in the cold months and bi-monthly in the warm months. Look for our next ride in December and our annual calendar coming out in January!
