March Ride – A small success!

Our inaugural ride was held last Sunday and while it was only five of us, it was a BLAST! Our first ride as a club took us down Washington Boulevard, up along the bench and the Mountain Road and then up Ogden Canyon. We stopped for a delicious brunch at the Oaks where we had a great chat. Our ride finished back down the canyon and along the Ogden River. In all, it was a beautiful (albeit cold) ride and a lot of fun. Thanks to John, Sonya, Shad, Jeff and Mike for making it a success.  Check out the Flickr gallery for ride images.

Frosty Sunday

Today was a lovely day in the sun but a ride up the canyon in the shade proved to be frosty endeavor. Temperatures below 40 really do make for a cool ride but still, Jeff and I managed to get a quick one in before the early sunset. While the club forms, we are working on finding some fun easy rides which can share when we have many members. A quick jaunt from the Masonic Temple parking lot to the Oaks is a nice little short run.
