We prepped the bikes the night before which made for anneasy departure. The six hour trek from Ogden went pretty smoothly. We arrived in Las Vegas in the late afternoon through a blizzard and other obstacles without issue and immediately checked into our hotel.
The first ride is always an evening trek down the Boulevard to the Las Vegas sign and it was a great but cool run. It’s always a great experience cruising among the bright lights and glitz of the Strip.
We returned to the hotel for some food but discovered our colleague Greg had engine trouble. Gavin came to the rescue and we were able to easily pick up his bike with a hitch hauler.
It was getting really late and we were all starving so we snagged a horrible burger and called it a night. It wasn’t a perfect day but it was pretty damn close.
